pixelator is expected to be compatible with computers with any recent version of major Linux distributions, including installations using Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).

To reproduce the steps in our data analysis tutorials, we recommend having at least 32GB of RAM, and sufficient disk space to download the associated PXL files to your computer. To run the pixelator pipeline, i.e. to process FASTQ files and generate PXL files, we recommend using a machine with at least 512GB of RAM.
